Training
Up & Away Speech Therapy Services provide a range of specialist training services to help schools and early years settings to develop their skills in supporting children with speech, language and communication needs. We can deliver tailor-made training on Inset days or after school on a range of subjects. Training can even be offered online if that is more suitable for your team.
We are able to offer training in the following areas:
Identifying speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
Supporting speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
Identifying links between behaviour and communication needs
Supporting TAs/LSAs to delivery speech and language therapy programmes
Targeting language development through play
Narrative therapy
